There is a bit of deja vu over this information, as we already sent a similar one the last year. But as you probably understand, Corona and the restrictions still affect our business and our ability to run the race this year. We are sorry to say that the race will not take part as hoped in 2021. We are instead welcoming you all back on August 13th 2022.
On the other side… We know that many of you are looking forward to paddling the new course. Therefore, Camp Dalsland offers guided tours on the course on August 14th, 2021. Camp Dalsland will serve a light lunch along the course and a sandwich or similar at the finish. Everyone who is registered for Dalsland Canoe Marathon can participate free of charge on this guided tour. More information further down in the email.
What do I do with my registration now when the race has a new date? Camp Dalsland offers everyone who is registered for the Dalsland Canoe Marathon three options.
1) You keep your registration until August 13th 2022.
2) You sell/give your registration to someone else. Change of name is free of charge.
3) You get your start fee refunded. We keep SEK 100 in administration fee. Please reply with bank account details to info@campdalsland.se . Write” Refund” in the subject. We need your cancellation no later than July 31th 2021. After that, your registration automatically moves to 2022. We will start refund all cancellations at the beginning of August.

Camp Dalsland invite you to participate in guided tours of the course of Dalsland Canoe Marathon. There is room for 150 participants, so it’s simply “first come, first served”. However, you must register via our website. If the Swedish restrictions make room for more participants than 150, we will open up for more participants to join.
It is possible to register for the following tempo:
Dalsland Canoe Marathon 5 hours
Dalsland Canoe Marathon 6 hours
Dalsland Canoe Marathon 7 hours
During the day, Camp Dalsland offers a simple lunch along the track, as well as something to eat and drink (portioned “to go”) at the finish line.
To participate in guided tours on August 14th, you have to register via the website. The guided tour cost 200 SEK and will include lunch and a sandwich or similar at the finish.
