Åre Extreme Challenge is the first and largest multisport competition in the Nordics. Every summer since 1997, the participants start below Tännforsen and finish in the centre of Åre. The event attracts over 600 participants each year.
The elite complete the track in about five hours and the “weekend warriors” normally finish the same track in six to ten hours. Compete solo or as a duo or relay team.
Nations Challenge is a unique concept that takes place during Alliansloppet Action Week. The challenge consists of a duel between the two “arch enemies” Sweden and Norway. Contestants from each country collects points based on their own or their team’s performance. These points are then counted together and finally one nation stands as a winner.
The different competitions will be the playing field for hundreds of contestants. Dalsland Swimrun will be one competition in Nations Challenge. Read more here: Alliansloppet
